No one should go hungry. River Bend Food Bank works with 300+ partner agencies in 23 counties to make sure people facing hunger have reliable access to healthy food. Leading the community-wide effort to eliminate hunger in eastern Iowa and western Illinois, the Food Bank distributes over 20 million meals each year to hungry people through food pantries, schools, senior residences, and community organizations. How to Help:

Iowans can support the activities of River Bend Foodbank through organizing Funds and Food drives, volunteering to sort food, pack Backpacks, assist at Mobile Food Pantries, and providing monetary support. People who are interested in volunteering should contact their volunteer coordinator, Shalynn Eldredge-McMillan, at SEldredge-McMillan@riverbendfoodbank.org  or 563-345-6490, ext. 205 visit their website for more information.
